Hey is your GTI a Performance Pack car?

Your thoughts on ownership?

Had another drive in a BRZ and am questioning my desire for one now. The GTI would meet nearly all the criteria I am looking for in my next car. I could learn to live with a lower redline and more mid-range punch. While I would rather wring the crap out of the engine like I can with my SVT Focus, the GTI would be a very similar and familiar driving experience.

The BRZ feels very small, and I am worried about winter driving in a RWD vehicle.

Styling is subjective. I did not say that the sedan is ugly, only that I prefer a hatchback.

Also, I am not a “VW” person. I am just looking for a fun car to replace my SVT Focus. I haven’t even driven the GTI yet.

You like your car, obviously. That’s fine. I am not interested for reasons I have already elaborated. Don’t assume anything about me, and don’t try and argue when I say no.
